View Full Version : need good source for hand tools
What I'm looking for is a cheap inspection mirror. I want maybe a 3" x 2" rect. mirror on a telescoping handle. I want to buy a lot of these to send to a coworker in Iraq. Like, you know, 20 or so. The best I'm seeing is about $6.00 a piece, which will lower the number that I can send. Something like this:

Anybody got any better sources? I am not looking for quality, but quantity.
Thanks.

 for Harbor Freight. Their website is usually cheaper than the store, but if you print out the item and bring it to the store, they'll match the price.
General Tool makes a cheap mirror. Too bad you did not hit an automotive swap meet this summer, as they go for around a buck apiece.
Sears also carries them, about eight bucks.
I would try harbor frieght, or that big outfit out of Chicago (they sell precision tools, most made in Poland or India)
Good luck, do you have a bud over in Iraq that requested this? Did he say what for?

ZiggyI found some ok ones at a dept store, Meijer's. Not exactly what I wanted, but they work.
My bud's there, deep into it. He won't ask for anything, the proud sob.
I figure that they could be useful for looking around corners, under cars, shaving, etc.
