Paul's column is pretty insightful, and it was decent of him not to trash Pat in the column for going to the Dark Side, but then again, P.C. DID beat him in the CCWS final standings last year.... :eek:

He's one cheap bastard. Only ponied up money to save ChampCar. He only bought 30% of CART's stock as it dropped lower and lower. He only paid fot the ponsorship for Brian Herta's ride one year. He only paid for the sposorship of PT's and Carp's ride this year. He only paid part of Tags' salary last year. The day he spends money the world will end...

The previous post, wherein ChampCar was going to the Rodeo Network seems to be somewhat off. It's CBS & Spike. Could be worse. I would love to get to where all the races were on CBS, and Spike carried quals & support races.

I guess it best part is: next season is gonna happen. Last year at this time, only the true believers thought we were going to be here now. We are, and the trends are up. :cool:

Of course, the downside is, we won't get to have the racin' n rodeo crossover shows, where back row ride buyers and bull riders switch rides for an afternoon.
