Thank heavens for the HANS Device! Poor Danica's room is ready, and she's bound to kiss the wall a few times, suck alot of toxic fumes, and swallow plenty of brake dust. But at least her cervical spine will be well protected....

A gal's gotta be able to make her money, and Danica does what it takes to get PAID!

Not surprising but a shame nevertheless.

There are Atlantics drivers more deserving of a Champcar ride than Danica but she's American, she is distinctive, has marketing/sponsor savvey and is reasonably competitive. Any series would benefit from her involvement.

And my 9 year old daughter will be bummed that she won't see her favorite driver on race weekends

It's interesting that while it's rumored that her contract is up sometime next year, there's no word in this story about a contract extension. Note that Danica's goal is to be "An open wheel champion."

No big surprise there considering Rahal and Argent. Still, I'd rather her be our backmarker than their backmarker.

Maybe Tony and Brian can deal her a W next year. That would be Great PR for the IRL! :thumbup:
