CHAMP TV DEAL: CBS Sports will televise four Champ Car races beginning with Milwaukee on June 4. NBC will carry two races, and the TV schedule for the rest of the season will be announced later.
"This agreement allows for the Champ Car World Series to reach a greater audience, which is vital as we continue to grow," circuit president Dick Eidswick said Monday.
Besides the Milwaukee race, CBS will carry the events in Portland, Ore., on June 19; Cleveland, June 26; and Toronto, July 10.
