Aussie? Aussie?? Aussie?
Go here (http://www.cortex7.com/index.cfm/PID_5/FID_31/) to find out the Truth.
:shakehead , as soon as a Kiwi becomes famous some Aussie claims they were bred and born dinky die Australians first.
Oh well. ;)
I know this should possibly be in Other Racing but it is linked. Several years ago all the Kiwi racers wanted to be in CART (including Matt )as they progressed from Formula Fords. Even young AJ had a year downunder but sadly the Fords are getting tired and if you can stand the "T" word take a look here. As much as I hate Toyota for doing CART they seem pretty keen on getting the young kids up to speed. several, when interviewed have mentioned going on to race in the States but I can't say I've heard them say the IRL. Hmmm, given Toyotas high rankings over there.... :gomer: New Series (http://www.toyotaracing.co.nz/)

 New Zealand is like Australia's Canada.
Look on the bright side. At least you don't ever have to worry about anyone thinking that Steve Irwin or Russell Crowe are Kiwis!
I have a question...
It's "New Zealand" right? Well, where the hell is Zealand? :saywhat:
and OGorman's got a good point about Russel Crowe, let those crazy roo-humpers keep him :gomer:

Hi Ank, we were "discovered" by Abel Tasman, a Dutchman who came from Zeeland in Holland, er, I think. :o Too lazy to check out the facts and there is much debate down here to who "actually" discovered the Country.
Same old story, they got here firstist but we got here mostest. No matter the rights and wrongs of colonisation you can't change history. ;)
Speaking of those Toyotas, Dixon and his family were involved with the promotion of the series. Not a word that I heard was mentioned about them being a stepping stone "up" to his series. :D
Rusty.
I'd never thought about that before. But Google rarely disappoints... http://www.alltraveldenmark.com/Denmark/Destination_Guides/Regions/Zealand.htm
