I've wanted a Yellow Mini Cooper for a while, and now at last... HEY!

Ok, I love the Mini and making a choice between that and the RX8 was killing me because of the difference in price and practicality. But tonight all the stars aligned (2004 inventory, end of the month, rebates) and the dealer made us an offer on the RX8 that we couldn't refuse. So we're now proudly in possession of the last 2004 6 speed Lightening Yellow RX8 within 150 miles of Columbus. :D

You sucka! :thumbup: RX8 rocks. IIRC, the RX8 won the big shootout deal on one of those car shows that TK hosts on Speed. A little low on low end torque (so the show said) but the rotary rev's rock when you wind 'er out. Great car and sorry about having to make the choice on the mini. Maybe grrl could get one of those next. ;)

We share the cars, but this will be primarily his. When we first started looking, we drove the new Mazdaspeed Miata, but the RX8 felt more like our old Miata than the new Miata does. Since we both have an affinity for yellow cars this one was perfect. I'm a happy grrl. :)

What a great car. I had a 3rd Gen RX-7, and had the stars line up a little better, I'd be driving an RX-8 now.

That's the best color I've seen on that car, good choice!
