Anyone playing any Fantasy F1 leagues this year?

Find a good one and I'm in. Snowchicken was lame and the new Yahoo one sucks even worse. The 2003 Yahoo version was tops.

No its not. I just looked at it and it’s not as good as the ’03 version. The 2003 edition had more choices.

I did the motorsports.com pick 6 compition a few years ago and enjoyed it. However they have on their page that the 2004 season is open, which does not inspire much confidence they are doing it this year.

It looks like F1 Pick 6 (http://www.f1pick6.com/) has a similar format and is open for business this year. (although it is now pick 8)

I signed up for this one. The one thing that is missing is a group option so that we could all join a group.

I prefer picking the order from everyone each race, rather than doing the whole team managemetn approach. You are not locked into a "team" and money and all that, you just pick who is going to win and place ,etc. That may sound easy, Schumacher wins. But getting the rest in the right order is also hard. And in this league it looks like picking eighth right gives just as many points as picking first right. So the skill is in predicting the results each race, not in buying a team before the season even starts.

FWIW, I was scouring Yahoo! UK on Sunday, and this isn't the game that was available then. They had some cockamamy deal where you picked imaginary drivers based on endurance, technical abilities, etc. It sucked. This looks more like the regular version.
