There's another thread about the switch to ethanol in the IRL. Yeah, well, maybe good, maybe bad. But how should it NOT be marketed?
Exactly as they're doing it of course....

Good Lord. I had to double check the URL to make sure that wasn't some wiseacre 'shop job. :saywhat:
"The IndyCar Series always has been recognized for its technical leadership in automobile racing"
Gotta stop right there, F1 is on Speed.

OMG LIEK WTF!?!?!?!!1$@#$!
That has to be a parody site, right?
Please slap me really hard several times if it is not.
To summon Batman you need a big searchlight with a bat-template on it. Is there something like this for BiF?
HaHa, the official welder of the IRL. How fitting.

With this approach, they are marketing central Indiana, the only place they don't need to market. Great. :gomer:

News Flash:
no one here cares either.
Well, apparently they came to their senses and eliminated the cornfield. Now they're trying to play off the surge in interest in poker, apparently. (and, hmmm, were have I seen that font before?)
Oh, and, um, "Cars Gone Wild"
They seem to watch a lot of TV, these web designers.
"Cars Gone Wild"?
What, are they going to lift the bonnetts off of the engines and flash the cam the covers?
(and, hmmm, were have I seen that font before?)
No kidding! That's SO late 90s CART....

Wow is that site lame. "Celebrity Sitings??" How lame. Just like how they send all those tickets to celebrities for the Indy 500.
Anyone else feel at times that TG started the IRL for little more reason than because he never felt accepted as a teen and now is trying to look like the cool successful guy?

A little bit of that, and a lot of "The other kids wouldn't play with me, so I took all my marbles and went home. Waaaah! Someday I'll show them..."
 That was the impression I got after I read through some of TG's comments as quoted in the "Help a friend's son" thread.
