Not only that, but it seemed (at least to me) that she sat in her car for quite a while (relatively speaking) before any safety personnel were able to reach her. I know that there were a ton of cars in the incident - but it seemed to me that she was the among the worst off, yet one of the last to receive assistance.

Reminded me of a Nascar race. Rear end of car engulfed in flames, driver not moving in the car and nary a safety vehicle insight.

Just as OWRS/CART has taken steps to address the driver/car weight issue, I think that Brainfart and the I*L Officials should look into Weldon's unfair advantage.

If it was up to me, I'd mandate some ballast in his loafers starting as early as Phoenix.

I started as a congrats to Dan Wheldon (former Toyota Atlantic and Indy Lights driver) for winning the race...i should have known that people would turn it into a bash-a-thon about the IRL

my mistake....next time i will keep my mouth shut :)
