Steve Leiber, a sprint car driver at Limaland Motorsports Park, was severely injured in a snowmobile accident Friday night near Wolverine, Mich. He struck a tree head on and suffered severe facial and head injuries. He was wearing a helmet which split upon impact. He had surgery early Saturday morning to relieve a blood clot on his brain and remains in a coma. Once swelling subsides, he is expected to face many more surgeries. But things don't look too good right now. Steve and his dad Dwain have raced together at Limaland for years and are two of the best all-around guys you will ever meet. Dwain is one of those real happy-go-lucky types and would, as any of us would, be devastated to lose his son. Please pray it doesn't come to that. :(
