Built for speed and stamina the Saluki is also a very intelligent dog. He therefore needs constant physical and mental stimulation with plenty of daily free exercise. Highly sensitive he thrives on affection. Good with children and other dogs. Needs constant human companionship and should not be left alone for long periods.
