I was going to make a reference to that and the I*L, but I guess I'm not as gutsy as I thought.
Bad deal. I've been on those trains when I was there and they are very swift!
Very sad. Here's a story with no registration required.

Bad deal. I've been on those trains when I was there and they are very swift! Bad deal for certain. I can't even imagine what a couple train cars smashing into a high rise building would be like, but certainly not good. Sounds like the kid that was driving overshot a station, got behind, and stood on it to make up time.
Clarification: This particular train was a local train on the JR West Japan Line traveling from Amagasaki to Kyoto, and while the newer locals are referred to as a "Rapid Train," they are actually not all that fast. Officials said that anything over 82mph it would jump the tracks. The Shinkansens, or bullet trains, are on the main JR line and don't go to Amagasaki, which is on the Sea of Japan side.

Either that's the flimsiest train I've ever seen, or the toughest building. The train car is bent in a "L" around the corner of the building.
