You know, grampy Jabba was correct a few years ago when he stated something to the effect " They'll have to deal with Anthony NEXT year."
I mean, look at the trouble gaylio had passing him at St. Pete.
I bet he's increasingly harder to lap or dodge at findy this year too!
Ed and IV have been parked most of the afternoon. IV went out briefly and found a couple of mph.

Ed and IV have been parked ever since they hit the 216 barrier in the first half hour.
Is that the code name for the safer wall? ;)
Is that the code name for the safer wall? ;)
Nope. It's a euphemism for not letting them out to find the wall on the first day.

Now Mr. Ed is on pit lane getting ready to bring more dishonor to the #20.
Almost 3pm Standard Gomer Time and Larry has been in the pits most of the afternoon trying to be a coiled snake. ;)

Actually, I believe it was HWC/Northshore/E-stand on Beechler forum back in 2000. I think he labelled Jason Leffler as a coiled snake waiting to strike and Greg Ray was the gunslinger. It was quite a hoot. :gomer:

I think Arute was originator of "The Tiger Woods of the IRL" or maybe some kind of gunslinger reference.

Kind of funny that Foyt was some one that many people looked up to and was considered one of the greats. Now, between his perpetually crappy team, his crappy son and grandson, and his senility, the name Foyt is synonymous with joke.

Why don't they just draw numbers out of a hat?
It would certainly save on potential carbon fibre carnage and give Dr. Bock and the boys some much needed rest.

There's a sign at the beginning of the Futility Watch:
<--- You must be this high to enter
Tomas Enge should have no problem...
Tomas Enge should have no problem...
Damn. I knew I should have typed "tall" the moment I hit "enter".
<--- left the door open again. ;)
Honestly, if Arie Jr. gets a pass to make the field that's gonna be the story of the race. I'm not sure that kid'll be able to keep the car between the fences for a single lap. F'in Brainfart is a complete dolt for even thinking of letting that kid try and make the race in this short of time. Musta been a big check. :shakehead

F'n FTG better just reserve a whole wing at Methodist if he lets any more tools into his sideshow.........this whole thing makes me wanna puke...even more that the last few years.
At least Racin Gardner ran some practice laps.
If Arie jr is allowed to qualify with any ol' speed he runs 4 laps at the Fivehunnert will go from comedy to farce. If Brainfart has a lick of sense, he'll let Arie jr run the 6 laps it will take for the leaders to catch him, black flag him, and call it a day with everyone's limbs still in one piece.
I'm serious.
