if Scott Mayer flunked his test to drive an irl car, again, will there still be 33 cars in the field? I haven't seen a lineup for the potential participants but I would assume that this would take them down to 32, no? Understanding that 33 is just a number who will fill the shoes?
Tony G. will pony up the cash (or just take the money out of the prize fund) for someone like Jacques Lazier or Lone Star GR.
Did anyone around Indy feel that impact tremor?

Nope. Hoosierdaddy.
There are plenty of 'qualified' and willing drivers. No wanker dropout or OW Hero will significantly affect the car count (or lack thereof) at Indy. The team owners hold the cards. There's not a lack of drivers, there's a lack of cars.

It is only appropriate that his name is Earl.

Thanks. I recognize the characters so I must have watched a few episodes.

Dinosaurs was a great show. His name was Earl, and he was the man of the family. According to the baby dinosaur though, he was "Not the Mama". He was a "tree pusher" by trade. He knocked down trees with his head. Maybe he is Sarah's dad!

The one where Earl discovers his kid's a herbivore was just plain brilliant.

On reflection. I didn't want him hurt, but I didn't want him in the race either.

I read that the IRL sent Mayer home so unless someone tries to bring him back to replace Dana they are both gone.
