Forza Motorsports is a new Xbox racing game, strike that, the developer wants you to call it a 'sim', not a game. This is the Xbox's answer to Grand Turismo, the PS2's phenom smash racing series. Forza isn't the perfect racer and it's not the perfect 'sim' but it makes GT3 feel like an arcade game.
Track detail is nice, almost 300 cars, fully configurable, the physics are the best I've ever felt on a console.
As far as racing games are concered, you'd be hard pressed to find a better one, even on a PC, yes, I said even on a PC.
Now if MS or Logitech (or someother supplier) would make a decent force feedback steering wheel.
If you've ever wanted to feel what it's like to scream around Laguna Seca or Road America in your favorite dream car (sorry folks, no open wheel cars that I've come across yet), you owe it to yourself to go pick up an Xbox and Forza Motorsports. For $200, you too can be *insert favorite driver here*.
Tip: Refurbished Xbox's can be had for $80 at places like EB Games.
Check out these purdy screen shots. These are in game shots too, not cut screen shots like Sony likes to do.
