24 hours of Lemans tips

Long story short....I have the opportunity to travel to France for one week and It looks like I might be able to attend a practice / qualifying session for the 24 hours of Lemans.

Does anyone have any tips or suggestions about the track, things to look out for, be aware of etc?? I leave on the 10th and will return the day before the USGP.

Also, I will make sure that Railbird will be at this years 24 hours of Lemans.

Tip #1: Don't wear a t-shirt stating that TVR sucks.....
Tip #2: If you are driving to the track, slow down. French cops are d****s and they expect you to pay the fine right there and then!
Tip #3: Buy the Autosport with the Le Mans preview they have good info.
Tip: #4 Have fun and take picture...

It's been 30 years since I went to Le mans so I imagine any advice I might have would be out of date. I had a fine time though and I hope you do too!
