ESPN had a Danickle peice on this morning and claimed that Thursday's quals were larger than normal. The St Pete Times has a large Danickle section today but reported that no extra seats have been sold because of her participation for this Saturday's race in Texas. Although no totals were reported.
They did ask other tracks and Richmond reports that they have sold 300 seats since Indy. 300 seats! It's a frenzy!
Pikes Peak owner said that he has had more calls about tickets since Indy than the last five years combined, but did not discuss actual #s.
