Wow! Pretty!
(Not a big fan of the double roll-hoop but there you go....)
Otherwise, Wow!

That big engine cover makes it look like the Focus Prototype without a roof. ;)
Was the caption right, is it going to be a V-8?

No announcements have been made, so your guess is as good as mine. I do seem to recall a Porsche spokesperson mentioning an all-new engine at some point. An official unveiling is due soon though.

Two articles. One from the ALMS perspective, the other from Porsche.

3.4L V-8 it is! Should sound very nice at 10,000+ RPM. :)
Double roll hoop is for compliance with the new rules.

It's all fun and games until the passenger's head gets sucked into the inlet.

Paint the mutha black and stick Follmer and Oliver in it together. Pass out the mints first, though!

Damn, they snuck that in while I wasn't looking. At any rate, it'll be interesting to see what the 3.4 will do, and whether it gets beefed up (or turbo-ed) for P1 usage.

Makes sense. A brand new 3.4L NA V-8 with a bit of an overbore to 3.6L and twin turbos will make a fine LM1 engine.

I like the overhead shot. A few cuts on the bodywork and you have the Mach 5.
