There were a couple on display at the race in Toronto. I didn't bother to look at it closely but just passing by the looks didn't completely suck.

Wow, how uninspiring. Looks to me like they took the front end of a Cadillac CTX or STS and married it to the back end of the Lexus IS. Truly original design.
It never ceases to amaze me how unlike their real life counterparts the taxicabs look. In fact it really bothers me that the term "stock car" is used to refer to the taxicabs at all. There's nothing stock about them. The back end of that Fusion is a good 1 1/2 times the size of the back end of the taxicab fusion in those photos.
Saw this at the bottom of the link -
"Later, a hybrid powertrain will be added – making Fusion the fourth full hybrid in the Ford Motor Company stable, following the Ford Escape Hybrid, Mercury Mariner Hybrid and Mazda Tribute Hybrid."
Shouldn't it be the SECOND hybrid. The three they listed are all the same car.
.... :shakehead .......but then who cares.
I like the looks of it.
The stock car? meh. looks like all of them. so no big deal good or bad there.
...and married it to the back end of the Lexus IS.
I was gonna say volvo.
Wonder what the MPG will be on the hybrid?
So is Ford killing the Taurus?

That "stock" car looks waaaaaay different than the Taurus.
So is Ford killing the Taurus?
Yes. The 500 is slightly larger and the Fusion is slightly smaller. Together they replace the Taurus. The Taurus will be built into early next year.
