Liar. CART voted to adopt a 3.5 liter formula compatible with the crapwagon formula. Honda stormed of in a huff claiming that there was no way that they could have a 3.5 ready in time, but really just because they didn't get their way. They then turned around and agreed to supply that same 3.5 liter (badged from Ilmor) to the IRL.

Any word on when that IRL engine formula's going ot be announced?

Unlike the majority of folks here, I don't like to publically or otherwise thumb my nose at ex-CART people now in IRL...but Clarke is always the exception.

Ask Barnfart. Perhaps they are waiting on Clarke to decide. Can't be a production engine, or they will pizz off Fonda.

sounds like fonda is getting ready to bail, the welfare checks will have to be signed again by FTg himself for earl to survive.
