Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the flat side of the concrete barricades (see right side of pic) supposed to be facing the cars? Seems like the angled side could act like a ramp.

they did the fan pit walk through 15 minutes before the race and qual sessions.

I have never seen them do that before, the pit was packed. But it also gave the fans more to see then an empty pit

That was the new extension of the pit exit on to the fast front straight that was done on Friday night. The flat side faces the faster part of hte track - the pit straight.

The chicken is a work thing. When an employee goes out of town we take the chicken with us and take pics that we put on the company server.

In the last three weeks he was at the race, Atlanta and the Sonoma Balloon festival. He gets around.
