I was updating my bookmarks on karting places.... There used to be a place called TBC Indoor Kart Racing in Dallas.... 100,000 sq ft....

my bookmarks all go to search pages now.....

I assume it went under. Can anyone confirm this, and does anyone know why? This was supposed to be the flagship karting place for a consulting company out of belgium.... I'd like to hear the talk of why it failed....

i tried to look up tbc when I moved up here but can't find **** about them online...

they're mentioned in a couple of dallas morning news stories, dallasnews.com but those articles are from '03... they were located in a shady part of town to begin with, N. Stemmons is right next to crack central...

In other news, I heard from a friend in Columbus that Speeds may be closing.
A Wal Mart will most likely take its place. I'll keep all you Speeds fans
posted as I get more info.
