G., I think that during the body of the song, they go down the scale, skipping a few solfege syllables:

"That will bring us back to do - so - me-re-do"

...and then they take off again for another run through. :) Then at the very end of the song, they go up the scale:

"That will bring us back to do!! Do-re-me-fa-so-la-te-do!!!"
