We just have a thread about this track. Isn't the track quite a ways from Salt Lake City?

Google Map (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=tooele,+utah&spn=0.719717,1.662094&hl=en) of Tooele, Utah and it's proximity to SLC.

It's no Bluffdale, but then it's no Cedar Fort either!!!! :)

OK, it's not THAT far out. From the tone of that other thread I thought it was a lot further out.

Yeah, me too. But then we Texans/Californians are used to driving long distances!

Utah is awesome. It's my favorite state to drive through because of the incredible sunrises and sunsets.

Now that my sis lives in SLC, I may make this race an excuse to visit. Or just visit her during snowboarding season....

People were snowboarding in July this year. I saw some maniacs hiking up by Alta packing their boards up the mountain.

Ah to be young and stupid...

Utah is an amazing place, the whole Mormon thing scares off so many people that there are only very small tourist crowds for us locals to deal with...

We need more Mormons in California! We tried shooting people on the freeway, but that didn't work out.

One of my all-time favorite trips was mountain biking in Moab on my way to a mountain biking/mtn. climbing trip in Durango, CO. What a beautiful area!

So if the Houston race is Friday 5/12, does that make it a one-day show, or will they actually get track time on Thurs.?

It's all part of the OWRS plan to screw ALMS!

If this was in Korea and CCWS was connected with it I'd say it still wouldn't be ready by next year. :gomer:

When I was a kid I had a slot track that looked just like that. But mine had two verticle corners and a loop. :gomer:
