d00d has had too many concussions. Period. Or perhaps he's practicing for his post-hockey career (cuz he sure ain't no broadcaster). :saywhat:

That's why he's my favorite non-Hurricane!

^ How can you root for a team that can't even pluralize properly? :gomer:

Actually, RobbyG is a Hurricane fan also. I like them because of their history. (Before the NHL, they started in the OHL by buying up the Windsor Spitfires - yes, those Spitfires - and building a team that made it to the Memorial Cup final in 88.)

Former coach Paul Maurice was actually the Captain and an overage Spit that Memorial cup year, and when gaolie Pat Jablonski came back mid-season as an over-ager, Paul gave up his playing career and became an assistant coach under Spits coach Tommy Webster.

Paul of course stayed with Compuware as they sold the Spits and started a new OHL team - Detroit Compuware Ambassadors, which is now the Plymouth Whalers - and he moved on with the Compuware management to Hartford. Took em to a Stanley Cup final too....

Your pointless Hockey nostalgia of the day.

I remember Coach Mo well. He'll be back in the NHL before too long.
