Alien. There were only 3 of us in the theater when I saw it, we shared a lot of nervous laughter.

The original Halloween. I was pretty messed up after that one for a few months, at least...

Pet Cemetary scared the crap out of me, especially when sister Zelda rushed the camera.

The original Nightmare on Elm Street was good stuff as well.

The original Halloween and Alien movies are the first that come to mind for me.

Gore horror never did anything to me as far as "scaring" me. I was a teen ager during the Freddy/Micheal Myers/Jason heyday and we would watch those flicks more for the comedy aspect over getting 'scared'.

Ghost and possesion movies are the ones that give me the creeps. Like when Patrick Swayze is making a vase with Demi...*shudder*.

Seriously though I hate ghost movies. Poltergeist was a good one. I'll never forget the first time I saw the movie and the mom is making breakfast and turns around and all the chairs are piled up.

Poltergeist, Exorcist, Amitiville Horror...the Shining still gives me the creeps and I've seen it two dozen times. yeah, for me it's ghosts/possesions.

The Ring kinda freaked me out the first time I saw it too. Just somethin creepy about a gray skinned, black haired girl under your bed.

I spent three hours last night practicing and charting the Doors Not to Touch the Earth. That song is so spooky......especially the ending....that I actually got scared playing it. Very appropriate song for Halloween.

Scary to think Cruella and I paid to see that opening night at a Multiplex in a city an hour and a half away.
