Interesting driver line up.
Stars flock to Mexico
Robby Gordon is pulling double duty this weekend as part of a star-studded field in the 38th Baja 1000 off-road race.
Gordon, a former winner, will be joined in the Mexican desert by fellow NASCAR drivers Boris Said and Michel Jourdain Jr., the IRL's Buddy Rice, Champ Car World Series teammates Sebastien Bourdais and Oriol Servia and supercross legend Travis Pastrana. There are a record 360 entries from 31 states and 12 countries.
The difference for Gordon is that as soon as the race ends Saturday in Ensenada, Mexico, he has to catch a flight to Homestead for Sunday's Nextel Cup race. That's assuming substitute driver Paul Menard gets Gordon's car qualified for the race.
