I got the same email. Is it an online site or what? I didn't see a link.
That'd be great, if I'd ever get the membership I registered for six months ago.
They meant Speedgear, but they didn't put that on the advert.

I know. I looked at that and thought, "Nice, now where do I get the stuff?"
UGGGGGGGH. Reminds me of too many hotel emails, "COME STAY WITH US" "We're gorgeous, the best, the nicest......" but they don't say where they are.
:banging head against wall:
Thank you for telling me where this is.

I may have to get me one of these.

Ugh, the RaceCarDriver dvd's wont be available until 12/14. With my luck, they won't be available until after Christmas.

Is that a Champ Car flag, or a SpeedGear flag that happens to have a Champ Car on it? Why does the SpeedGear logo need to be so dang big?

Probably to offset some of the cost of the flag.
If Champ Car merchandise sales finally get large enough that kind of stuff will go away.

Yeah... I've got a couple of Speedgear shirts with obscure Champcar logos on them.
Killer orange Speedgear flames though. :gomer:

Since they only ship via courier, I would think they could get a DVD delivered within NY in less than 10 days.
However, the product page says "No discounts available on this item. Only Race Club and Winner's Circle club members are eligible for a discount." So...no 40% off after all?

After hearing stories from the members of this board who haven't receieved their CCIC membership info yet, I was taking the available by date with a grain of salt.
And doesn't "no discounts available" mean no discounts available? Everyone pays the same price? Why then say Winners Circle members applicable for discount, when in reality, there should be no discount?

It will offset my cost, since I won't buy it with that large SpeedGear logo on there. Without the logo, I would buy it.

I have the long-sleeve CCWS tee-shirt, and on the orange flames going down the sleeves is the Speedgear name and web address. Does it bother me? Sure, but the shirt is probably one of the most comfortable I own.

speedgear does "discounting" all the time, but it's very convoluted. as an example, i just got a 25% off coupon form them. most of their coupons indicate that they're good for "in stock items" only. most of the high-ticket items (like die-cast) are always conveniently "out of stock" until about a day or two after the coupon expires.

I would think a little creativity with a black magic marker would take care of the Speedgear Logo.
