View Full Version : Bruno, "Very happy!"
Bruno ran 127 miles yesterday, set a goal of getting to 52.2 in his first time in a Champcar since winning last May...and turned a 51.1! Paul Newman was there to lend support. Good show!
Bruno 51.1
Briscoe 51.5
Daziel 51.8
Heylen 52.1
Lyons 52.3
Legge, Zwolsman, Kasemets and Pantano today!
I figured he got married to Wheldon :gomer:
Day 2...Briscoe, Daziel and Pantano all at 51.5, down .4 from Bruno. More tomorrow. There are some really good guys who'd like to run next season. I just hope some 3 car teams materialize.

Let's hear the excuses now.
None needed, that's the whole point. At least Legge gets to run R'sports AND PKV. These guys are driving Champcars for the FIRST time. Surprised to see Lyons only 7th, (combined, but only .1 out of 5th) but what do you think he could have done in Bruno's car? That's the only excuse I can think of. I think they'd all like to try on that ride! :)

where is Kasemets?
Running with Zwolsman for Conquest today. Stay tuned.
Tonis 11th of 11 at 54.4. Pantano and Bruno on top at 50.9, Briscoe 3rd just .1 back. I may be suffering from premature evaluation but we might just have 2 new drivers stepping in. :)

I'm waiting to see her times in a PKV car. I don't think anyone else drove the Rocketsports car. After Tagliani's drive last year, I personally think Rocketsports' past success was the driver, not the engineering/car.

Richard Lyons drove it that morning.
Lyons 1.0 faster in same car.

Ohhh, ok. Then I'll say it now. If she can't run with the top guys next week, I hope she stays in Atlantic and trys to win the championship and the $2M. Give the seat to Dalziel.
