Andretti Green Racing announced a two-car team for the Indy Racing League's Pro Series, but it won't be an addition to the car count.
That's because AGR simply is partnering with Sam Schmidt Motorsports in an effort to gain extra test days for the Indy-car program, a perk recently provided by the IRL.
Schmidt fielded three Pro Series cars last year and intends to field AGR's two cars plus one of his own in 2006.
"For us, it's a wash," Pro Series spokesman Tim Harms said.
