About 17" in my backyard.
All cleaned up now, at least until they plow my driveway back in. :saywhat:
The storm lagged over us, so we've gotten more than they thought we would. Now they say a second band is heading our way. All in all the worst should be over by 3 PM. They're estimating 21" on the ground right now in my town.

Staten Island got that in 93 and 96 when I lived in NY
I miss snow.
I`m going out to Gators on Treasure Island a bit later for beers. It`s 48 degrees in Tampa Bay, and it may be my only chance to wear one of my mothballed coats :gomer:

That Picture is why I love Snow ..... For about 15 minutes !! ;)
Philly Suburbs had about 16" ... But It's Melting Already, and the Snow Blower ( Pretty Big ) is bitching ahbout the weight of the snow ... It got done though
What sucks is the rest of this week will be in the 40's and 50's ... so quick melt off will cause some Water issues
I pitty New York with 23" and the same melt off !!
Hope ya stocked up on beer! :D

About 22" here.
Kids are digging trenches in the backyard. Looks like the Battle of the Somme
They've been out there for hours and must be soaked. They couldn't care less

Eh...that's just a dusting.
Hope ya stocked up on beer! :D
This is important. The worst possible thing is to spend about an hour or so digging your car out and then getting to the beverage store and finding out it is closed.
The storm only gave us here in smAlbany a dusting of 3". I remember back during Christmas of 92. We got about 36" starting on Christmas Eve and ending early Christmas morning. I was filmed by our local Time Warner station shovelling the snow. I ended up on CNN Headline news that night! It got to the point where I had no idea where to put the snow that I was shovelling. Then on New Years Eve we got another 24".

Bah! Stoopid Virgina. We woke up to 12 inches of snow...on the grass! It never got cold enough forit stick on the roads. 12 inches and I can come and go as normal. Just doesn't feel right. I really don't need a 4x4 in VA. :shakehead
We got about an inch here. It was supposedly blow-off from the roofs in Connecticut.

It's pictures like that, as pretty as they are, that remind me that I hate the stuff. I can handle the cold, 40 degrees is shirt sleeve weather, but my back just won't let me shovel that crap any more. And I can't teach my dog to do it.
The pictures in this thread are why my wife made me move to the south. I kinda miss it.
