I remember it well. I might even have the Indy Star from that day. I save lots of newspapers for stuff like that.

My nephew was born that day, but being a huge Cart fan I never forget the other events of that day. My coffee cup is from a three day cruise a company gave to me when I was working on ships and it has that date on it so I am always reminded. Life and Death...
