I don't think he was really "driving" it. Did you see the two guys pushing the car just before it stopped?

His entry to the stage was reminiscent of Johnny Carson getting tangled up in the curtain before his monologue.

He said he was not driving in CC this year, he was thinking of doing some sportscar racing and it was time to step back at PKV and let the team build toward the future.
