View Full Version : Mexico City Rescheduled
The Mexico City event, which was scheduled to be held November 5, has been moved to a week later in order to avoid a conflict with All Souls Day or Dia De Los Muertos, which is a very important day on the Mexican calendar.

It does seem a bit odd, as two years ago the race was on the same weekend as Dia De Los Muertos, in fact there were quite a few tie-ins at the race. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with soccer, the most recent race was up against some serious futbol.

I think you onto something here. Last year was not the rousing success they wanted. I immediately thought there were other economic forces at work.
